Summer.

I am Mareen Fischinger, a photographer in Düsseldorf, Germany.

This blog shows some of my personal life. I mobile-post behind the scene photos and ideas, too – in no specific order.

While I am at it, I am selling my car!

lost in dirt

I kinda got hit by a black Porsche earlier

when I went running. The car was sitting in a parking garage exit and suddenly started moving. My hand on his hood helped me keep my balance and stop, and it must have been pretty fast because the dirt didn’t come off easily.

I don’t know why my first thought was that he might hit me in the hollow of my knee or the knee itself, so that then his tire would go over my leg. (I used my hands to prevent that.) Still trying to figure the thought out.

But everyone is fine, we apologized to one another, and I had already moved on and forgotten about it when big fat bug fly into my eye. Sick!

We did some keying today. It might be one of the things I hate most about doing film and its effects.

Checking out the working room at my design school. They have new computers. How gay is having the reflection of everyone in your screen?

In early 2007, I asked Laura Serra (Tumblelog) for a collaboration, and gave her a photo of mine to do some illustration with. I have been planning to soon do something like this test again.
Then today, I stumbled upon Dirtylipbalm, Ravi Vasavan’s portfolio (well, maybe because he emailed me). Ravi does some amazing collaborations with photographers, like this one:
(But also some some similar to mine.)

Dennis & I are waiting for the Tony to start talking. Looks as if we were on a plane. And it is just as loud. (Writing from Dennis’ iPhone because mine is in the hospital.)
