Summer.
I am Mareen Fischinger, a photographer in Düsseldorf, Germany.
This blog shows some of my personal life. I mobile-post behind the scene photos and ideas, too – in no specific order.
While I am at it, I am selling my car!

Listen to the music:
Stuffed animals and their robot insides.
Insane, unnecessary and scary shit. When I was little, I had a teddy that could make a gumbling noise with the help of some membrane. I was very happy with this one stuffed animal and still know its name.
If you live in the Düsseldorf area and have no plans tonight, you might as well come to the presentation of LidoVI magazine. Lido is the catalogue that is published with every exhibition at KIT – Kunst im Tunnel, which is a video exhibition this time.
Every catalogue is made by a different small team from my design school FH Düsseldorf. I worked on the concept with the team and took all the photos, while four others layouted the pages.
Anyway, if you come at 6-7, you get to see us and the exhibition (with a guide) for free, the catalogue costs 5€. We will then proceed with the party at the famous Salon des Amateurs (2), and there will be a screen with the soccer game, too, from what I heard.
Relogged from Rachel, but with my photo.
Face Transformer has been getting a lot of play in the press for its ability to show you what you might look like when elderly or of another race, but I think the artist renderings are the creepiest/best part of the site. Here’s my Mucha/Boticelli/Modigliani look.

While Germany watches the Euro soccer game…
I think it is very cute that even our chancellor, Angela Merkel, is there watching the game with attention. She really tries to be a good leader.
